Essex Botanical Herbal Drink is a tea produced by Flora Beverage Company in Canada and is the original Essiac formulation of purified water, burdock root, sheep sorrel, slippery elmbark and turkey rhubarb root. This formulation originates with the Ojibwa Indian Nation in Ontario, Canada, but it was developed, refined and used extensively over a period of more than 50 years. The story of Renee Caisse and the formulation of Essiac is detailed in the book Essiac: A Native Herbal Cancer Remedy (shown above) by Cynthia Olsen.
This herbal drink is great for anyone who wants the original Essiac formula in a tea. It may be taken cold from the bottle or mixed with warm distilled water. The dosage may vary depending upon the degree of illness. The bottle should be refrigerated after opening. (32 oz bottle)
